Stranger Things…Season Two #StreamTeam

When it comes to watching scary shows, I am about the ABSOLUTE BIGGEST WIMP THERE IS except for my friend Maxine who punched me in the leg and arm continuously during Nightmare on Elm Street in 1984…while I kept my eyes mostly shut except for the few moments I peeked through my fingers.

I vowed, on that day, that I’d never purposely put myself through that kind of abuse again.

I hate the feeling of being turned inside out!

So, for the last several years I’ve happily and contentedly watched Rom Coms, Dramas, Comedies, Documentaries…absolutely anything EXCEPT those shows that fall under the HORROR category!

My kids…horror all the way. In fact, they think it’s hilarious that I believe Nightmare on Elm Street to be the scariest movie of all time! (Truth is, I don’t have much to compare it to!)

Enter Stranger Things.

I don’t know what compelled me to first watch it…possibly the nostalgia of growing up in the 80s, or the fact that a friend told me it was much more of a thought-provoking and intelligent scary show than just a flat-out scare you for scaring sake show. Or, it could have been a really awesome interview I saw with Millie Bobby Brown, or the pumpkin carving my friend Matt did…that I wrote about last year.

Whatever the reason, I watched the show and was COMPLETELY drawn in to the characters, the feel of the show, the mystery, the suspense…and yes, the fear!

I couldn’t get enough.

On October 27th…season two will arrive on Netflix and GUESS WHO’LL BE WATCHING (or more likely peeking through my fingers!)

Check out the trailer!

GAH!

The countdown is on!

Will you be turned inside out…or upside down?

Once you’ve checked out all of the trailers, behind the scenes clips and interviews…if you still haven’t seen enough, there’s a Stranger Things game you can download FREE on Google Play and iTunes that from everything I hear, is rather 80s addicting!!!

Disclaimer: I receive special perks as part of my affiliation with Netflix….however, as always, opinions and stories are my own.
