Testing, testing… 1,2,3…

When I first started blogging a few folks asked if I’d do “product testing.”  You know… folks sending me hydrogenated soup, soy granola bars… lady products. I try the stuff out… then tell you what I think… no strings attached for saying either good or bad… just my stupid humble opinion.

Meh… can’t see it.

Plus these “little” things don’t really fall in line with my advertising contracts and seriously… why should a “lady product” get an entire blog post? Who would read it?

Oh… yeah… Crazy and the Tampon… never mind.

I was always of the mind that if something awesome came up like… oh I don’t know… a HOT TUB… I’d be in! Hey, who wouldn’t want to product test a hot tub for a month! Wait… a trip to Cancun… travel companies could send me on an all inclusive so folks could follow my adventure! An NHL game… in Toronto… with my kid! OMG the Grand Prix in Montreal… a week at a cottage with my kids… an iPad…  housecleaning once a month for a year, a Cotton Candy Machine!!! YUP… I’ll product test and tell you what I think! I can’t promise it’s all going to be good but what could be so bad about a Cotton Candy machine!!

Yesterday, when I got the phone call, I thought… that’s a fun adventure… a product I could test!

For the month of October I’ve been given a car by O’Regan’s! That’s right… a CAR! Two in fact! For the first two weeks I’ll be hanging out in a “Sonic” and the second two weeks an “Orlando”… no… sadly they aren’t sending me to Orlando which would be far more exciting… but maybe I could DRIVE to Orlando in my Orlando!  Now we’re talking!

I’m not really sure what “product testing” involves and I’m hoping it doesn’t have me wearing a helmet and driving into a wall like a crash test dummy… but if you’re in the market for a new car… or just think it would be hilarious to read a post or two about my adventures driving around in circles (which if you think about it, that’s what you read about anyway)… then come along with me for the next month, share the posts when I write them and enjoy the ride… I know I will!!!
