Shake your palm palms…and help me celebrate!

I have a BRAND NEW DESIGN in my Etsy shop for the “Things We Love About You” artwork!

How did it come to be and where did I get my inspiration, you ask?

Well…it comes down to the simple fact that this summer, the weather was almost TROPICAL! Many mornings were spent opening my patio door as the heat smacked me in the face…a wall of warmth completely embracing me as I sat out to enjoy my breakfast…the heat, staying through the day as I worked in my air-conditioned apartment…and into the evening as I relaxed with a glass of wine and charcuterie board on my deck.

Sitting in the evenings in the beautiful weather…on my patio alone or a patio with friends…brought up memories of traveling…trips I’ve had through the years to Barbados, the BVI, Mexico, and Cuba. Beautiful locations that simply warm your soul…sailing, palm trees, white sand, fabulous food, rest, and relaxation!

It’s strange that at a time where we can’t travel…I was reminiscing about palm trees, coconuts, and rum cocktails!

And so…the tropical-inspired artwork came to be…
