During the year, I’m not a bad shopper. I enjoy perusing the mall…well, unless it’s for a bathing suit for either me OR my girls! I enjoy buying a new outfit before an event and really get a kick out of finding the perfect present for someone I love. But, at Christmas…yeah, not so much.
To start with, there’s never anywhere to park, I’m not big on the crowds, throw in my ever-persistent need for a cup of tea and the challenge of finding a spot in the food court to sit…then, fire a huge winter coat on my heat sensitive body and to be honest, I sometimes get a little cranky!
Alright…really cranky!
Yet today, it wasn’t so bad.
A visit to Halifax Shopping Centre to start my holiday gift buying had me relaxing in style. A cafe with various hot and cold drinks and treats! Priority parking in front of the mall! A spot to drop off my parcels and coat AND, if I’d had a little extra time, I could have even had my packages wrapped!
YUP! That’s what I’m talkin’ about!
RBC has set up Avion Lounges in malls across Canada with one right here in Halifax Shopping Centre. As a blogger, I was asked to drop in and share my experience and I have to admit…it was pretty darn awesome!
Especially when Nichole asked if I’d like a piece of chocolate to go with my perfect cup of tea!
To be honest, I’m not quite feeling the stress of the holiday so today’s experience at the Mall wasn’t all too bad, HOWEVER, time is getting short and in the next little bit, I’m REALLY going to enjoy a little pampering in that lounge as I happen to be an RBC Avion Card Carrying member which means I’M IN THE CLUB!
AND…I can take you with me! As long as you shop with me, show me where all the awesome deals are and keep me entertained with your company! The rest, totally taken care of by RBC!
Shopping in style…being able to take a break and put my feet up, drop off my parcels, check my email and send a few messages, grab a cup of tea and take a few minutes to go through my list…check it twice. YUP! Enjoying a few perks in the RBC Avion Holiday Boutique…totally my style!
