Throughout her corporate career and entrepreneur life, Sandra Drover has always had a dream of owning a clothing store. With NO retail background whatsoever, Sandra chased her dream and at 51 years of age, during a PANDEMIC, started her sustainable lifestyle brand, Phit’Cetera. Sandra has faced a few challenges along the way (did I mention PANDEMIC), but is very much enjoying living her dream and is committed to working with brands that make a difference in the world which in turn, allows her to make an impact!
In Episode 8 of the Imposter Sisters podcast, we chat about Sandra’s battle with imposter syndrome, setting high expectations and comparison paralysis, as she balances needing to “put herself out there” as a small business owner, and not wanting to look foolish in the process.

This past December, after meeting Sandra through I friend, I popped into the shop to see if she wanted to be part of the Curtains are Open Wednesday Wishlist. Sandra jumped at the opportunity and that initial meeting was the beginning of a fabulous working relationship as I now take care of Sandra’s marketing and social media needs! To say she’s a dream client is putting it mildly!
Sandra is all heart which was never more evident to me than when the wildfires tore through our community and Sandra did everything she could to “give back” to those who were dealing with so much loss. It was inspiring to watch.
What you see is what you get with Sandra. Her heart is on her sleeve and that sleeve is rolled up and ready to work. As her social media manager, I highly suggest you follow her on Facebook and Instagram and pop into the shop to meet the fabulous woman behind the Phit’Cetera brand! Even on the rainiest of days, Sandra is a RAY OF SUNSHINE!
